The terms that govern your use of the DocEnsure platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and DocEnsure LLP, the operator of the DocEnsure platform. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any DocEnsure API, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.
If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
DocEnsure is a software-as-a-service platform that uses forensic and machine-learning techniques to assess whether a document is authentic, tampered, or fraudulent. The service returns a verdict (e.g., Clear, Review, Suspicious, Fraudulent) and a detailed evidence report. The service is provided for informational and decision-support purposes; we describe its limitations in section 8.
You agree not to:
You retain all rights to the documents you upload. By submitting a document, you grant DocEnsure a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process, copy, store, and analyse that document solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. This licence ends when the document is deleted in line with our retention policy (see Privacy Policy §5).
We will not train our AI models on your documents without your separate, explicit written consent.
The DocEnsure platform — including the software, models, user interface, branding, documentation, and forensic methodology — is owned by DocEnsure LLP and protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the platform during your subscription, subject to these Terms.
Forensic reports we generate for you are your property. You may share, store, and act on them within your organisation and with regulators, courts, or law-enforcement authorities. Resale or commercial redistribution of reports to third parties requires written permission.
We aim for high availability but the service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Document verification is a probabilistic process. No automated system can guarantee 100% accuracy. The DocEnsure verdict is an assessment, not a legal determination. You are responsible for your final decision (e.g., whether to onboard a candidate, approve a loan, or accept a document) and should treat our output as one signal among several.
We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that all defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocEnsure, its partners, and employees from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party right, including any data-protection or intellectual-property right; or (c) any document you upload that you lacked the right to process.
You may close your account at any time from the account settings or by emailing info@docensure.com. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you materially breach these Terms, if continued service would expose us to legal risk, or if non-payment persists. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases, but obligations that by their nature survive (e.g., confidentiality, IP, limitation of liability) will continue.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that DocEnsure may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or platform security.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will give at least 14 days' notice by email for any material change. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
